– Avocados

You can’t really tell what’s happening in the inside of an avocado, in fact, most of the time you probably just cross your fingers and hold your breath before cutting into one just WISHING it is a good one. Well, I have a trick for you for picking them:

1. It should yield to firm/gentle pressure.

2.Take a peek under the dry little button on the stem end. If it’s green, then you will be gifted a perfect avocado. If it’s brown, then you will find a brown slimy mess inside.

* Ripe avocados should be eaten within a day or two.
