I created CómoComo to show the close relationship there is between eating and living; as it translates from Spanish, CómoComo means how to eat.
But it’s not just about eating; it’s about how to live. CómoComo is about going beyond food nutrition, and into life nutrition.
Living just like eating, is a process of taking in (moments), digesting, and letting go or excreting what we don’t need. Good nutrition depends on how well your body can digest, assimilate and absorb nutrients; similarly, a good life is really a matter of how well you can digest, assimilate, and absorb all the moments in it.
Who we are in the deepest part of our being profoundly impacts the chemistry of our body.
HOW we eat, and WHO we are as eaters deeply affects the way we digest and metabolize our food. Emotions affect the mind, and the mind affects metabolism and our ability to digest food. At the end of the day the kind of food, the amount of food, and the quality of food you eat will depend on who you are as an eater. Once you become healthy in the inside (on an emotional, psychological and spiritual level), you will inevitably choose healthier options on the outside.
