Meditation is about stopping the thoughts that are constantly circulating in our heads. Though it can be a daunting practice for most of us, it’s not that hard to calm down your mind when you bring single-pointed focus to your attention. So, if you focus your attention on a single point and balance on one leg, your mind stops thinking. Suddenly all the mind chatter shuts up and before you know it, you’re meditating.
It’s really about putting the mind on the back seat, and allowing yourself to be fully present in this moment. And the added bonus? Balance tones your core.
